1) Sky news has chose to to represent the story on the side of the police.They favoured the police.

2)The police are favoured and are presented as heroes.

3) Young people represented in this coverage as violent and abusive youths. 

4) In the news you are sometimes presented with crime stories which have the criminals who the  get convicted so the end equilibrium is them getting punished.  

5) The police are presented as heroes and the people rioting are presented as villains. Dialogue like "the police are tackling these problems" demonstrates this.

6) Citizen Journalism is used to portray the story in a non-institutional way.It may be the most genuine piece of journalism as their is no/very little modification from news institutions.

Basic details

3.     International emmy award for news, British academy television award for best news coverage, best news and current affairs journalism
4.      It is produced by ITN, and has been in operation since Channel 4's launch in November 1982.

Presenters



Jon Snow, Matt Frei, Krishnan Guru-Murthy, Cathy Newman is the presenters.          
1.  They are wearing formal suits.
2.  TV News programme use a variety of presenters to keep it interesting for the viewers.
3.  They help question and give responses.
4.  There is more males than females and more people of the white ethnicity than any other.


Opening sequence


1.           The first shot is when john snow introduces the programing.
2.             The first sequence is a moving animation that introduces channel four news.
3.             There is dramatic news music at the start of the animation to make it look professional.
4.            All news stories are introduced at the beginning.



Studio mise-en-scene



1.             The audience can see the desks and computers.
2.             When the presenter is presenting the news story he is standing and when he is discussing he is sat down at the desk.
 4.             The channel four colours are used as it allows the show to be branded adequately

The trailer illustrates that the story is about an adventure between four good friends.It clearly shows they are 
 travelling to a country they are unfamiliar with and have a lot hurdles across the way.One of them being waking up to a hangover which puts them in a awkward place.

Character

The characters are a group of friends who enjoy adventure.The character played Alan, which was played by Zach Galifianakis, was an interesting character and contributed to the plot.He was presented as a random and unpredictable character which gave the viewers a sense of urge to see what he would do next.

Iconography

There are various comedic references in the trailer to support the genre of comedy.A few Sexual References are also made to support the adult humor aspect.Also a few spontaneous moments are also inserted to support the randomness of the movie.


Setting

This movie is set in Thailand.A setting for one of the main protagonist's wedding.A setting in a foreign country is interesting for the viewer as they watch how the characters act in different scenario.

Minority Report shot-by-shot analysis



This is a medium shot(MS) of the police offers once they have spotted ,John Anderson(Tom Cruise),the suspect.The producers of this film,minority report, have chosen this shot type to portray that the officers are well armed and dangerous as with this shot type,the viewers are able to see the helmets,body armour and  it looks like they are holding a gun. The viewers are also able to see the facial expressions of the officers with this shot(which are Surprised and relieved) once they have spotted the suspect.This builds up the suspense in this part of the movie and makes it more engaging for the viewer as they are excited to see what will happen next.

This is a wide shot (WS) of the where the main protagonist has found an alley way to get into.This is leading into a chase scene.It is vital to have a wide shot so the viewers are able to see any obstacles ,any details of the atmosphere and the police officers behind him to create an intense action scene where the viewers are engaged.

This is a close up.The close up is a shot that keeps only the face full in the frame. In this close up the whole face of the main protagonist is shown.This means that the viewers are able to see the facial expressions of him.The facial expressions of this characters illustrates that he is very tired and his body movement shows he is about to run from the police and try to escape.The background being shown in this image is vital as viewers can see clearly that he is cornered.With the aspect of his body movement posited to look like he is about to escape contracts an tense chase scene.
